We are all very excited about the opening of our new shop in La Finca Golf. We already have many customers in the Orihuela Costa area and the opening of a regional office in La Finca reflects the level of interest in this area for solar energy.

2011 marks the introduction of biomass heaters to the Solar in Spain range.

Biomass is the perfect solution to your heating needs. No need for gas or oil at your property and considerably reduced running costs. In addition, generous government grants are available for biomass installations in private and commercial premises.

New Head Office for Solar in Spain

We have moved the Solar in Spain Head Office to Pedreguer.

The growth of the business has meant that the existing office in Oliva was no longer suitable. The move took place in Summer 2011 and the company is now based in larger premises that incorporate a showroom, offices and a warehouse.

Solmate Solar Energy has been awarded a contract to install a commercial solar thermal energy system in the United Arab Emirates.

Solmate Solar Energy’s commercial Director Fidelma Matthews has announced that the company will be installing a 4,400 litre solar hot water system at a residential complex owned by ULO Systems LLC in the Emirate of Umm-Al-Quiwain.

“We are delighted that as a result of our experience and expertise in solar thermal energy we have been selected to supply our market-leading system in the heart of the oil-producing region”.

The Solmate solar energy system has been designed to provide over 95% of the annual hot water required by the 68 residents of the complex.

Over the last few years we have seen a growing demand for a product that provides heating and dehumidification functionality and also has no running costs, zero maintenance with a low initial purchase price.  With all that in mind Solar in Spain has recently launched a range of products that fits this bill.
